NADIS Project Engages High School Students in Science
The Department of Experimental Medicine actively engages in various initiatives to promote science among the public, particularly targeting high school students. More than 1000 students are offered hands-on laboratory experiences through visits to the state-of-the-art laboratory at the Polo Biotechnology at UNIGE. These experiences aim to guide students in making informed decisions about their future career paths. Recently, the NADIS project was presented by Raúl Pérez Mato (DC4) to four groups of students, totaling approximately 200 participants. Raúl shared his personal journey and experiences leading to his involvement in this European Project, along with the overarching goals of the project and his specific research focus. It is our hope that these interactions will inspire young minds to pursue careers in science and contribute to addressing challenges in biomedicine.
